Yesterday was our big breast cancer fundraiser. I have to say, our community was so generous. Businesses donated the best prizes for our raffle, and people gave their money. We raised a grand total of $8500.00 which will be split between Solano Midnight Sun and Susan G. Komen. We will still be raising funds all month at The Napa Deli, so please donate, buy pickles and make a difference. We will be taking donations in front of Safeway too so give generously!
Kyle worked his ass off to make this event a success. His entire family showed up and put the event together and they deserve so much praise. It was fun and everyone there reached deep in their pockets and gave. Some people reached into Kyle’s bra and gave during the money dance. Ha! He looked awesome in the pink bra and tutu and fairy wings.
I want to thank the heroes that came out and were vendors for us. They donated their time and their stuff to help us out and we so appreciate it. I want you all to know who they are!
GV Cellars: What can I say about these people? They all worked tirelessly to help us out. Their staff sold tickets and canvassed all of their customers for donations. They let us use their beautiful vineyard and their staff donated their time. They deserve a big hug!
JC Entertainment: OMG, these guys were so great. They had everyone up dancing the entire time. EVERYONE was raving to me about what a fab mix of music they played. Everyone was happy. Forno di Sbarro: Vincent and his people made pizza after pizza for the crowd. It was so good. Picky me loves his pizza! If you have a party or event, his pizzas are inexpensive for the quality! Catering starts at $15 per person! That’s a great deal.
Sweet Indulgence: They sold their amazing Brazillian bon bons. The crowd went wild over them. These mouthfulls of deliciousness are amazing. You can get yours by calling Patricia (707)483-8513.
Magpies Bakery/Catering: They donated their treats to us for sale. Pink bunt cakes, apple pie slices and salt licks were all gobbled up. Thank you Jen for your generosity!
